Mimaki

INTERIORS

Mimaki, founded in Japan more than 45 years ago, now provides a total workflow solution for the sign graphics, textile/apparel, industrial and 3D markets.

Mimaki’s U.S. headquarters is located outside of Atlanta, Georgia with several regional showrooms located throughout North America. At their New Jersey location, a large industrial space serves as a visitor center where customers and prospects can tour and inspect all of the company’s large printing equipment. The tour begins with a warm welcome and refreshments at the Mimaki Café .

Over the past few years, Mimaki has evolved its marketing from simply describing features and functionality of printers to telling a story of the finished products printed with the associated equipment. Venues such as a sport store with clothing made from printed fabric and an airport terminal with large informational graphics are examples of the approach.

Once an exhibit is no longer used for trade shows, Exhibitus leverages booth components to add to the design of the visitor centers and showrooms. Thirty foot (30’) lightboxes in the industrial space display large format graphic prints used for face-to-face marketing events. At the same time customers and prospects inspect the printers, they are also consistently reminded of the end products these printers make possible.
