Custom Trade Show Exhibit Awards

TOSHIBA GLOBAL COMMERCE SOLUTIONS

EXHIBIT DESIGN AWARDS – BRONZE
HERMES CREATIVE AWARDS – PLATINUM
EXCELLENT ELEMENT INTERACTIVE ENGAGEMENT

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions, a global market leader for retail technology, is a commanding presence at the National Retail Federation (NRF) show every January.  Booth staff is tasked with demonstrating many different products, as well as helping attendees understand services that support a customer’s retail implementation.

To illustrate how the company’s products and services work together, Exhibitus created an exhibit experience for NRF 2017 that provided a comprehensive story based on the theme of  “The Path to Brilliant Commerce.” Using conductive ink technology, graphics depicting a consumer’s purchasing journey came to life via touch-activated animated lights and sound.

This exciting and unexpected engagement received an  Excellent Element Bronze Award in EXHIBITOR Magazine’s 32nd Annual Exhibit Design Awards (EDA).

This exceptional exhibit was also awarded the 2017 Hermes Creative Awards – Platinum in the Interactive Engagement Category.

Mimaki

HERMES CREATIVE AWARDS – PLATINUM
TRADE SHOW EXHIBIT

To stand out on a trade show floor crowded with large printing equipment, Mimaki, a producer of wide-format inkjet printers and cutters, relies on usage scenarios which spur attendees’ imaginations beyond typical print applications.

For a Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) event, Exhibitus replicated an airport terminal for Mimaki’s exhibit environment, demonstrating the company’s product capabilities with large, colorful graphics that can’t be ignored.

This important collaboration between the company and its custom exhibit house resulted in a Platinum award from Hermes Creative.

Kawneer

EVENT DESIGN AWARD – SILVER
BEST TRADE SHOW ENVIRONMENT (under 50’X50’)

Kawneer provides solutions that improve and protect where people live, work and play. Because its products and solutions vary so widely, bringing all of that into the booth is a design challenge.

Exhibitus created a space fluid and organic in nature that provides a journey of discovery through the exhibit. The exhibit was fabricated from Kawneer’s environmentally responsible products, demonstrating ways architects can gain points for LEED projects.

Interactive technology allowed attendees to experience the company’s broad product lines.

Exhibitus was awarded for effectively communicating Kawneer’s product cohesiveness in a memorable way. The display won the Silver award for Best Trade Show Environment for Event Marketer’s Event Design Awards.

Reliance

HERMES CREATIVE AWARDS – PLATINUM
TRADE SHOW BRAND EXPERIENCE


Reliance Water Corporation (RWC) is a collection of brands that offers safe, sustainable and efficient solutions. More specifically, these solutions improve performance for plumbing, heating and water systems.

At the world’s largest HVACR event, RWC displayed an innovative, show-stopping exhibit. Its interactive, engagement wall clearly communicated the complex, yet beneficial, integration between all of the brands.

Exhibitus’ dedication to excellence paid off with this exhibit winning Best in Show – Large Booth, as well as a Hermes Creative Awards – Platinum.

AGCO

SILVER STEVIE AWARD
BRAND & EXPERIENCE – EXHIBITION EXPERIENCE

AGCO is a global leader in the design, manufacturing and distribution of farming equipment. A major supporter of Future Farmers of America for over 70 years, AGCO wanted an exhibit that would peak the interest of an audience of teenagers for the group’s 2018 Expo.

Given that the event is held in October, Exhibitus leveraged the Halloween season by crafting a Zombie Cow Attack-themed escape room. Lines formed on the trade show floor as attendees waited to participate in this memorable experience.

AGCO and Exhibitus have enjoyed a successful relationship for many years. Receiving The Stevie Award, one of the world’s most coveted business awards,  confirmed what a strong collaboration between a company and its dedicated exhibit house can achieve.

Genie

HERMES CREATIVE AWARDS – GOLD
TRADE SHOW EXHIBIT AND ENGAGEMENT


Make a significant impact on the trade show floor!
That was Genie’s goal for the International Door Association Expo. To ensure the goal was met, Exhibitus designed an exhibit with attractive display areas for large products, while also offering private areas for meetings and training sessions.

To grab attention from attendees as they approached the exhibit, Exhibitus created an 18-foot tall genie that could not be missed. The genie was accompanied by a large touch screen monitor displaying questions to test attendees’ knowledge about Genie products and services. Those that answered correctly were rewarded with a ground-shaking, smoke-emitting celebration. Genie’s one-of-a-kind, exhibit with its interactive display was awarded the highly coveted 2019 Hermes Creative Awards – Gold.

Yamaha Marine

MINNEAPOLIS BOAT SHOW
BEST DISPLAY


At the Minneapolis Boat Show, Yamaha’s exhibit outshined the competition with intriguing curve-shaped elements and life-sized backdrops of boating environments.

Exhibitus’ designer on this project was Matthew Beck, who was previously a yacht designer – the perfect match to achieve a marine-inspired look. Thanks to his background and understanding of the physics of boating, he was an incredible asset to the design of this exhibit.

The result? This exhibit took home the Best Display Award of the 2015 Minneapolis Boat Show.

Cartiva

HERMES CREATIVE AWARDS – GOLD
ENGAGEMENT EXERIENCE IN A TRADE SHOW EXHIBIT


As the creators of the Synthetic Cartilage Implant® (SCI), Cartiva helps those who suffer from arthritis in the big toe. At the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery Scientific Conference, they previewed this product which is designed to reduce pain, improve function and increase range of motion.

During the development process, Cartiva collected a significant amount of data about each of these three categories. Exhibitus took the data points and instead of a static chart, created a 3D engagement that changed colors as attendees explored the results. The interactive engagement led to a 2018 Hermes Creative Awards – Gold.

CEDIA

EXHIBIT DESIGN AWARDS – BRONZE
CUSTOM ISLAND DESIGN – FABRICATOR


The Custom Electronic Designers and Installers Association (CEDIA) serves residential technology companies. CEDIA’s design firm, Pentagram SF, designed a massive 40×50 exhibit framed as if it was a stage, demonstrating the association’s role at the center of the industry.

The exhibit had four, 20-foot high, staggered archways, replicating the feel of stage curtains at a theater. From the side, the booth walls divided out thin sections, welcoming visitors from every angle.
Exhibitus’ role in this extraordinary display, along with Shepard, was fabrication. We worked with CEDIA’s design firm to portray a sense of energy and passion for technology. This smart and fresh exhibit earned a Bronze award in 30th Annual EXHIBITOR Magazine’s Exhibit Design Awards.

KNAPP

HERMES CREATIVE AWARDS – GOLD
TRADE SHOW INTERACTIVE ENGAGEMENT


KNAPP provides automated solutions for warehouses and distribution centers. Its impressive 40×40 booth at Modex offered many interactive activities and engagements. With overhead, canopy screens and touch-activated LED icons, attendees were immersed in the KNAPP Story. They also had a variety of hands-on experiences – between virtual reality, live product demonstrations, a digital assistant and case study kiosks.

All of these technology-based “stations” made for a modern, engaging and award-winning experience. KNAPP received a 2018 Hermes Creative Awards – Gold.

YKK AP

AIA CONFERENCE
BEST IN SHOW – LARGE BOOTH


YKK AP designs and manufactures aluminum fenestration systems. Its commitment to quality was perfectly represented in their AIA Conference display. Exhibitus incorporated the company’s aluminum systems into the 20×30 custom trade show booth.

The company’s viral video, “I Am An Architect” played on screens around the booth to entice visitors into the comfortable meeting area.

The exhibit’s combination of sophistication and practicality is what led to it being awarded the Best in Show at the 2015 AIA Conference.
