Kawneer, an Alcoa company, offers a vast array of Kawneer, Traco and Renobond®/Reynolux solutions that improve environments where people work, play and live.
Kawneer’s goal for AIA was to create a trade show environment that would represent products from all three brands, as well as demonstrate the relationship between brands. Exhibitus’ design linked the three brands, but minimized the amount of full-size products displayed, without diminishing the representation of the breadth and depth of the company’s offerings.
Given that the target audience primarily consists of architects and industry associates, the Exhibit needed to demonstrate Kawneer’s extensive knowledge of current building industry trends.
Kawneer’s management chose the award-winning style of architect Zaha Hadid – powerful, curving forms of elongated structures – as inspiration. Exhibitus designed a space that is fluid and organic in nature and provides a journey of discovery throughout the exhibit.
Because the company’s products are large and cannot be contained within an exhibit structure, direct digital engagement with members of the audience was required.
A large video wall featuring the overarching messaging – “Together we build infinite possibilities,” draws attendees deeper into the booth, creating opportunities for engagement with staff. Architects also can use an interactive iPad tool to develop a building site using the company’s products, demonstrating how – when working cohesively – products from the three brands can fuel design inspiration.
