Trade Shows in Atlanta – A Guide for 2019

Trade Shows in Atlanta – A Guide for 2019 | ExhibitusGeorgia’s capital is home to countless trade shows thanks to its numerous hotels and legendary restaurants, its variety of local attractions and comparatively mild winter weather. The Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC), one of the top five venues in the U.S., is conveniently located in the center of downtown Atlanta and is, by far, the most popular venue in the city.  Each of the trade shows profiled below will take place at the GWCC. See if any of the upcoming shows in Atlanta are relevant to your face-to-face marketing program for 2019.

International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE)

Taking up three exhibit halls at the GWCC, IPPE 2019 is focused on innovation, education, global reach and networking. IPPE connects you to the entire food chain including feed, poultry and meat production, and processing and production services. This year’s show will welcome over 30,000 attendees and 1,200 exhibitors from February 12-14. IPPE is one of the only trade shows that gives back 100 percent of its revenues to the industry. The revenue helps fund critical research, education, crisis management assistance, public relations and regulatory assistance.

HAI-HELI Expo

From March 4-7, manufacturers, service providers, helicopter operators, and civilian and government officials will attend the world’s largest trade show dedicated to vertical aviation. This conference is tailored specifically for the helicopter industry and facilitated by experts who are familiar with its unique challenges.  Attendees can choose from hundreds of educational workshops, seminars, courses, and forums, alongside 18,000 industry professionals. Over sixty aircrafts will be on display amidst 700 exhibits and 1 million square feet of trade show space for tons of custom exhibit designs.

Modex

Modex is the go-to show for companies in the manufacturing and supply chain industry, taking place every two years. Known as “The Greatest Supply Chain Show on Earth,” Modex 2018 had its highest record attendance at 30,944 from 140 countries – a 25% increase from the previous show.

Not only were there more attendees than ever, but the trade show floor size also set a record at 283,025 square feet at the GWCC. Exhibitors put new technologies on display, and guests were able to choose from 110 different seminars on related topics. One of our clients, KNAPP, proudly displayed their custom exhibit with unique engagement elements at the 2018 show.

The 2020 show will take place March 9-12 at the GWCC. If you’re in this industry, sign up now to interact with more than 900 leading providers to future-proof your supply chain.

American Association of Cancer Research (AACR)

This year’s annual meeting will be held March 29-April 3 at the GWCC. Attendees will learn the latest discoveries within cancer research, from modern science and prevention to survivorship and advocacy. The AACR is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education activities for physicians at this event. Attendees include scientists, physician-scientists, prevention researchers, epidemiologists and other researchers who contribute to the understanding of cancer biology, diagnosis, prevention and treatment.

Interwire

Join the Wire Association International (WAI) for its 89th annual show from May 13-16. Attendees will learn how manufacturers are contributing to the next generation of wire and cable making. Sessions vary in experience, ranging from the fundamentals of wire manufacturing to technical paper sessions.

NACS Show

Dating back to 1961, The National Association of Convenience Stores brings together vendors of all kinds that contribute to the convenience and fueling industry. If your company falls within one of the following categories, consider exhibiting or attending the 2019 show at the GWCC:

  • Fuel & Equipment Services
  • Food Equipment & Foodservice Programs
  • Candy & Snacks
  • Facility Development & Store Operations
  • Merchandise & Technology

This year’s show will take place October 1-4, and will likely host over 25,000 attendees in more than 425,000 square feet. One of the most unique experiences at the show is TechEdge—a forward-thinking program helping attendees solve technology challenges in the fueling and convenience space.
