Gathering of 17,000 architects and design professionals award Georgia-based building product manufacturer with top honor in large booth category
Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) 22 June 2015 – Exhibitus announced today that YKK AP America was named Best in Show – Large Booth Category among other custom trade show exhibits at the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Conference 2015 recently held in Atlanta, Georgia. This annual event is the largest meeting of architects and design professionals in the U.S., drawing attendees from around the globe.
“Congratulations to YKK AP on this well-deserved success,” said Brad Falberg, President of Exhibitus. “The company’s commitment to creating a fun, memorable experience for attendees drove the collaborative design process for this exhibit. And since it was the attendees who bestowed this big ‘thumbs up’ award, it is particularly exciting and confirms YKK AP’s in-depth understanding of its customers, prospects and the industry it serves.”
Incorporating YKKs AP’s own building systems, Exhibitus created the 20’x30’ exhibit to provide a canvas for product displays as well as a comfortable setting for engaging and entertaining large numbers of attendees. For the third year in a row, a music video utilizing the company’s popular I Am An Architect marketing campaign drew crowds to the booth. The I Am An Architect videos now has more than one million views on YouTube.
The YKK family of companies is driven by a core value called the CYCLE OF GOODNESS™:
An enterprise is an important member of society. As such it must coexist with the other elements of society. Its value will be recognized by the benefits it shares with society.
In keeping with this value, YKK AP looks for ways to draw younger generations to the profession. For this year’s video, YKK AP collaborated with the AIA Atlanta Chapter’s Discover Architecture program, which teaches children about architecture in a non-conventional environment. YKK AP hosted participants in this program in its exhibit for the premiere of this year’s video. Also, each child received a copy of “Discover Architecture” book.
