Programs include Design Scholarship Award and Internship Opportunities
Atlanta, Georgia 08 July 2025 – As a member of the Experiential Designers & Producers Association (EDPA), Exhibitus proudly supports the organization’s Future Workforce initiative to raise awareness of the experiential marketing industry to young, creative talents. Through its annual Design Scholarship and Internship Program, Exhibitus continues to inspire interest in art-related roles in the exciting world of experiential marketing.
The Company has awarded its third Exhibitus Design Scholarship to Michael Tipton, a Kansas State University, College of Architecture student pursuing a master’s in architecture degree. From an early age, Tipton was captivated by the art of buildings, whether constructing intricate structures with Legos® or building forts with found materials. When entering college, he determined that his childhood enthusiasm could be transformed into a fulfilling career by studying architecture.
“My love of architecture is deeply rooted in the powerful impact buildings have on individuals and communities,” said Tipton. “From childhood, I’ve been aware of the emotional response well-designed spaces evoke. I am excited and grateful to accept this scholarship from Exhibitus.”
“The Exhibitus Scholarship Committee was beyond thrilled when we reviewed Michael’s work,” said Matt Beck, VP of Creative for Exhibitus. “What we loved about his submission was the full breadth of creative chops, from sketching to 3D hand-modeling to computer skills. His ability to articulate items such as trees and pathways in the models were unique and fresh. Well done and congratulations, Michael.”
Exhibitus also has an established an internship program for design students currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in industrial design, exhibit design, interior design or architecture. Primary program goals include understanding a brand and translating that brand into experiential mediums, cultivating exceptional design aesthetics, and experiencing large format graphics and 3-dimensional environments.
Charly Munoz, a fourth-year Architectural student at Kennesaw State University, was selected for the 2025 internship program. Munoz stated, “Under the guidance of the Exhibitus’ creative team, I have seen the architectural design process required for experiential marketing events, as well as contributed to design concepts for company clients. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of such creative work.”
Beck continued, “Our creative team has had the pleasure of guiding and mentoring Charly over the past months. He worked alongside our designers to learn design strategy and processes, problem-solving skills and, most importantly, the teamwork required to produce outstanding products. We wish him the best as he completes his degree and becomes a significant contributor to the workforce of the future.”
“The future of the experiential marketing industry depends on its ability to attract a wide variety of creative talent, as well as skilled craftsmen for complex fabrication,” said Brad Falberg, President of Exhibitus. “We are committed to the EDPA’s initiatives as they develop programs to attract students in universities and trade schools to experiential work.
