Company Adopts a Local Elementary School as First Service Project
Atlanta, Georgia (PRWeb) 24 October 2016 – Exhibitus today announced BeyondUs, a charitable-giving initiative to support the local community. Participation in various projects each year will be inspired by the company’s employees’ passions and interests around giving and service.
“Giving back to the community is one of the principle tenets of the Exhibitus Mission Statement,” said Brad Falberg, President of Exhibitus. “Throughout our 22-year history, the company has supported many national and international causes with employee and corporate donations.”
Falberg continued: “Now, thanks to the leadership of Stacie BeVille, Sr. Account Executive, we have a formal program that will fulfill my dream of taking a more hands-on approach to giving. Stacie and her committee have developed a program that will give each employee the opportunity to go BeyondUs.”
“As a family of colleagues and a community that cares, we can make a difference in so many ways – we just have to look at the need in our community and commit the time and resources to help,” commented BeVille. “I’m excited and grateful that Exhibitus is eager to support this initiative.”
The first BeyondUs event was held on October 11, 2016. The company closed operations for two hours to assemble 65 large bags of classroom supplies – one for each classroom at Nesbit Elementary School in Tucker, Georgia. Nesbit is a Title 1 school with a high percentage of children who require free or reduced-cost lunches.
The next initiative, scheduled for December, will support the work of “Feed My Starving Children.” Families of the company’s employees are invited to participate in this holiday season service project. FMSC ships meals specifically for malnourished children in over 70 countries around the world.
