Lexus recently tapped students at Savannah College of Art and Design's (SCAD) Atlanta campus to design a concept for an arcade window display that Lexus sponsors at the entrance of the historic Fox Theatre in Midtown Atlanta.
The challenge, facilitated by SCADpro, included 12 student participants from different disciplines such as illustration, graphic design, sequential art, branded entertainment and advertising. The assignment was to create concepts that are thoughtful, imaginative, brave and foster innovation such as what we see in various trade show booth designs, all aligned with the Lexus theme of “Experience Amazing.”

Exhibitus has designed and implemented four previous windows at the Fox. To ensure that the students understood the fabrication and installation requirements prior to working on their designs, company designers provided an overview of previous concepts, explained budgetary considerations, reviewed technical criteria, and also participated in the judging of the competition. Exhibitus, a company that specializes in custom exhibit design, fabricated and installed the final concept.
