An Authentic Engagement for Architects

YKK AP manufactures architectural components for office buildings and other commercial and institutional structures. YKK AP has a long history of participation in AIA Expo.

The focus of all YKK AP’s activities at the show is to create an authentic engagement for the architect, not on promoting the YKK brand.

Incorporating YKK AP’s own building systems, Exhibitus created the 20’x30’ exhibit to provide a canvas for product displays as well as a comfortable setting for engaging and entertaining large numbers of attendees.

Three years in a row a music video utilizing the company’s popular I Am An Architect marketing campaign drew crowds to the booth. The hip-hop beat, which seems out of place in an exhibition of windows and doors, compels attendees to stop, listen and maybe shake their hips a little.

In booth performance by the “rappers” at certain times during the day always draw large crowds.

The three I Am An Architect videos continue to draw attention after the show, with more than one million views on YouTube.
