Exhibitus Delivers Toys to Cancer Patients at Children’s Healthcare

Funds raised at Have-A-Heart Golf Tournament help fulfill child’s final wish

Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) 17 February  2016 – On February 12, 2016, Exhibitus employees, along with representatives from Have-A-Heart Toy Drive, had the privilege of delivering toys to cancer patients at Children’s Healthcare of AtlantaScottish Rite & Egleston Hospitals. A variety of toys filled a large room, allowing each patient the opportunity to choose as many items as they would like.

As part of Exhibitus’ commitment to giving back to the community, the company sponsored the Have-A-Heart Golf Tournament in September 2015, raising funds to purchase these toys. For 10 years, Exhibitus Manager Tony Bugg has organized the tournament to help fulfill Markus Slack’s final wish.

Markus asked his parents to give all of his toys to his fellow cancer patients so that they may smile and enjoy them as he did. Not only did his parents John and Kim fulfill his wish then, they continued doing so for the past 17 years through the Have-A-Heart Toy Drive.

Bugg and his wife are both cancer survivors. He organizes the golf tournament every fall with all proceeds going to the Have-A-Heart Toy Drive. And every February around Valentine’s Day, Bugg, his family and Exhibitus colleagues are there to watch these children pick-out toys.

“It is such a joy to see the smiles on the faces of the kids and parents as they decide which toys they want,” said Bugg. “The golf tournament continues to grow in popularity, allowing us to increase our yearly contribution. We are grateful to all of our friends at Exhibitus who so generously support this important work.”

“Giving back to the community is a core value of our company,” said Brad Falberg, President of Exhibitus. “We commend Tony’s leadership of this project and look forward to sponsoring the Have-A-Heart Golf Tournament in 2016.”
